Well, he said 22 in the Pitchfork interview, but that must have included songs they could have recorded but didn't.  Eight is more than enough tho!  There are some great ones that didn't make it: "Twilight Come," "Astrabel," "Queen of Ghosts," "Here Comes the Night," &c.  Although, perhaps some of these are on one of the other five releases Molina has in the can.

i am wondering what is going to happen to the outtakes that showed up as iTunes bonus tracks a couple of month ago. are there plans that o punishment, this house (and what was the other one?) are going to see the light of day any day? i am dying to hear the them, too bad i didn't pick them up in time on iTunes - they seem not to be available any more. anyone knows something?
