Are you sure that track list isn't in reverse order? If not, very interesting to begin with "O! Grace," which is classic album-closer material if ever there was. I am very excited about this record. I hope they got "Whip-Poor-Will" right this time.

speaking of cats and bags, i was just told the album has actually been around for a couple of days now
as usual with anything jason does i won't listen until my vinyl copy arrives but perhaps secretly canadian ought to do something about it (hint hint, maybe start the pre-sale with download thing a bit earlier)

i tried to keep news of the leak off the forum for a day or two, guess that's a losing battle at this point. thanks to those forum members i've already spoken to for their discretion and understanding.
the pre-sale should be good to go in another week or so, i mentioned doing it early to secretly canadian a couple days ago and we'll see what happens!
i'd like to remind folks that discussing where to find leaks/etc is a forum no-no.

ooops... well i'm really sorry Ned (and everyone else involved), i honestly didn't think it would be such a big deal to mention it considering what samorama said. my post was certainly not intended as a heads up for people to go and download it.
if you want me to i'll erase all my posts about it and i'll definitely be more careful next time
if it's any consolation, most people posting on the forums/blogs where it's up seemed to really love the album and rated it among Jason's finest.

I suspect that anyone who reads the MECo. forum is going to purchase the album regardless of whether or not he hears the leak; he wouldn't be a fan if he didn't.
It is a marvelous, marvelous record. But, then again, how could it not be? I trust that we'll be hearing news in the near future about how we diehards can get our hands on those 22 outtakes!
